A/G 'Rougham Radio' 118.9MHz, not normally manned outside event and gliding days, however, mandatory 'blind' calls on 118.9MHz BEFORE joining overhead and ALL other normal circuit reporting points ARE required No non-radio aircraft accepted. |

On event weekends a mobile telephone number will be available for the SOLE use of participating pilots. This number can be obtained by either phoning the office (mon-fri 0900-1700) or from the recorded message at all other times. Please note that the mobile number is only to be used on flying event weekends by pilots, at ALL other times please contact the office. |

| Joining Instructions: |
Join overhead at 1500' QNH , Circuit height 1000' QNH. Circuits to the South of the airfield and A14, to avoid overflight of new housing to the West of the airfield and Industrial Estate to the South.
Please note, there is an angled base leg and short finals in operation for 09 on the southerly right hand circuit to avoid overflight of new houses. Please avoid long finals on 09.
Please avoid overflight of farm 1.25Km N/E of 27 threshold.
Radio controlled model aircraft are regularly operated on the airfield by the Bury Model Flying Club. These joining instructions provide adequate warning and time for models to be kept clear of the runways when full size aircraft are landing.

| Parking: |
Visiting aircraft are NOT to park to the North of 09/27, unless visiting the gliding group. No other entrance/exit points to the airfield are to be used by aircrew/passengers other than that indicated on the map. Visitors are to park their aircraft by the WW2 Control Tower as shown on the map by red box and red 'P' and walk down the route of the green line and arrange to be picked up at the end of the yellow vehicle route indicated.

Red P indicates visiting aircraft parking area, green line pedestrian entrance/exit route, yellow line vehicle route to entrance/exit pick up point.
Insurance Requirements.
All aircraft that use Rougham Airfield, in whatever context, are required to carry appropriate insurance cover: In the case of 'resident' aircraft, or those which make use of the Airfield on a regular basis, a copy of the insurance certificate must be supplied to the owners of the Airfield. Appropriate changes to cover should be made, if in the example of a jointly owned aircraft being used by less experienced pilot revisions to be supplied to the Airfield owners.
Please note that vehicle, personal and other insurance cover may well be altered or compromised by going 'airside' at any aviation facility: In this respect, all areas of Rougham Airfield owned by The Rougham Estate are classified as being 'airside'.
